For the eleventh time in a row, REO AG is awarding the Physikus Prize for four extraordinary achievements in physics. The award winners were honored at the Schwertstraße Gymnasium in Solingen as part of the annual graduation ceremony.
The Physikus Prize, which comes with a total prize money of 2,350 euros, is being awarded for the eleventh time to high school graduates of the Schwertstraße Gymnasium in Solingen. Extraordinary achievements in the physics advanced course are honored. “With our Physikus Prize, we inspire young people to get excited about the fascinating world of physics and make a major contribution to the future generation of researchers”, Jasminka Usein, member of the Management Board, summarizes the background of the Physikus Prize.
The lucky winners of the REO Physikus Prize are delighted to receive prize money. The first prize is endowed with 1,000 euros, the second with 750 euros and the third with 300 euros. In addition to the prize money, all four prize winners also receive a certificate.
With the presentation of the Physikus Prize, REO AG is committed to supporting local young talent at its headquarters in Solingen. As a global manufacturer of electrotechnical components and electronic devices, REO AG is also dependent on young, junior specialists and would like to maintain the interest of young people from Solingen in physics, mathematics and engineering in this way.
The prize will also be awarded again in 2020 at the Schwertstraße Gymnasium in Solingen.
