REO AG is a sponsor of the Green Lion Racing Team at the University of Wuppertal. The interdisciplinary student team is developing its first fully electric racing car to paticipate in the international Formula Student competition.
The aim of Formula Student is to design a vehicle in accordance with the official regulations, from concept development and manufacturing to participation on the race track. The entire process is governed by strict rules. With their prototypes, the students compete against each other in three static and five dynamic disciplines at international events.
This initiative not only promotes the development of sustainable technologies, but also offers students a valuable platform to expand their skills in engineering and automotive technology. We are proud to contribute through our sponsorship and wish the team great success in the upcoming races!
