Vibratory conveyor technology is used as a specialised area of industrial conveyor technology for feeding various conveyed goods in assembly, packaging and filling machines. The areas of application are extremely diverse, for example in industrial assembly automation, in pharmaceutical packaging systems, in industrial conveyor technology and in food processing and packaging. The complete systems from REO in the combination of REOVIB control units and the matching REOVIB acceleration sensors and vibration magnets, which are available in different versions, e.g. also in a powder-coated version with FDA approval, have proven to be the ideal solution in numerous areas of application. This applies to both quality and functionality as well as service. With the REOVIB MFS 368, we have developed the world’s most modern control unit for vibratory conveyors. Worth knowing

For controlled operation, each vibratory conveyor requires a control unit. Under the brand name REOVIB, REO offers you different series of control units for all requirements regarding the conveying characteristics of a vibratory conveyor and the flow of the conveyed parts. Starting with simple controllers that provide a variable voltage for the magnet by means of triac or thyristors in phase-cut mode, to frequency converters that generate any drive frequency and amplitude for the vibratory feeders, a large number of control units are included in these series. The designs of the devices start with printed circuit board designs for integration into their own housings or control boxes, continue with control cabinet built-in devices for mounting rails or mounting plates, up to self-sufficient housing designs in protection classes from IP54 to IP65.

Control inputs and outputs can be used to link individual devices to systems that operate complete feeding stations. Connections with higher-level control systems can be realized via analog signals or through fieldbus couplings such as Profibus, CAN bus, EtherCAT or EtherNet/IP and ProfiNet. Optionally, many versions are also available with UL/CSA certification.

In addition, the REO portfolio includes a wide range of measuring instruments. From the inspection of the conveyor, to the recording of relevant measurement data for quality assurance in production as well as the development and design of vibratory conveyors, to the performance monitoring of the vibratory conveyor during operation, the REOVIB measuring and monitoring devices offer a solution for every task.
