Load and discharge resistors
The charging resistor is a current limiting resistor for the loading and discharge of capacitors and limits for example the in-rush current that flows into the intermediate circuit capacitor.
The device must be laid out for a high level of single pulse energy and nominal voltage for this purpose. The inductance of the resistor also contributes to the limiting of the in-rush current, for this reason, REO wire resistors are the correct choice.
REO PRODUCT FINDER

Resistor REOHM Series BW 154
Braking resistor for drives with frequency converters of low to medium power or as a charging resistor. Installation close to the frequency converter. Mounting close to the frequency inverter.

Resistor REOHM Series D 330
The REO D 330 braking resistor converts excess braking energy into useful heat and is therefore ideal for electric or hybrid drives.
